The Tower Studio

This single-floor apartment has a double queen size bed  (we can also accommodate two twin beds instead if need be) plus a comfortable, single futon.  Let us know which arrangement suits your needs better. It can sleep up to three adults or a couple with a child. It has a kitchenette, a stove with a great oven and a fridge. It also has all the appliances for you to cook. Additionally, it also has a private bathroom with a shower .

This apartment is completely separate from "The Tower" Duplex" apartment, although they are located in the same building.

Both Tower apartments are only 80 meters across the field from the beach, whose sandy expanse stretches four kilometers to the east - perfect for sunset walks!

 

 

 

 

When our twin girls were four or five years old, a beautiful young woman in her early twenties came to our lives as a volunteer, her name was Eliza. 

​

Eliza brought so much happiness and love to our family that when she left we wanted more beautiful youths like her to be a constant in our lives. She was our inspiration when we converted the bottom of the tower (which used to be a garage) into an apartment for the many more "Elizas" who came into our lives–for weeks or months at a time–over a decade and a half.

When our girls grew up, we enlarged the studio and made it into "The Tower Studio" for other guests. 

This beautiful "Tower Studio" apartment is on the ground floor of ‘The Tower.’ It has a lovely view of our backyard and the feeling of a little cave in the forest. Leave the curtains open and wake up feeling so connected to life. When you open your eyes and see the forest from your bed, look out into the cool, full ivy, the moss, and the flowers that arrive in springtime.

There is a wood fire in the bedroom to add to the cozy feeling.
